Editorial illustration for Decât o Revistă, for a series of articles about divorce. This one talks about how separated parents argue about their rights to children. In seeking revenge on one another, they transform their kids into victims with lifelong traumas like fear of abandonment, guilt, or the difficulty of setting healthy boundaries in future relationships.
The article aims to advise separated parents on how to cooperate for the children's sake. The child is oversized compared to the parents because I wanted to emphasize its importance.
No matter their discontent with one another, the parents have the responsibility to try to collaborate, take care of the children above all else, and create a safe space around them.
